Huh. You know, I might be inclined to ask why about YouTube, but it's pointless.
I think perhaps the answer to my question is another question; a question put to one statement in the article:
"YouTube is 'a phenomenon that should be studied,' student Darren Grose said. 'You can learn a lot about American culture and just Internet culture in general.' "
OK, so shouldn't the class should really watch a lot of video sites? YouTube may have started a phenomenon, but it isn't the phenomenon itself.
Incidently, I am actually watching a video on YouTube right now.

Thats interesting. Its SoCal though, so I think, despite the clear and obvious evidence to the contrary, the liberal arts might really be dead elsewhere. Although there is this wonderful revival going on in SoCal, it hardly counts for the rest of the nation.
